Our 1793 mercantile offers a very unique, Cape Cod shopping experience. Our main floor offers a nostagic experience (penny candy, old time replicas and our famous Nickelodeon) while our lower level shares Garden Decor with our year round Christmas Shoppe and Toy Area. With over 40 local artists and hand-picked items from around the world, you are sure to find everything you didn’t think you needed.
Meet Mom and Pop
Frank and Heidi Cadwell are washed ashore. Having raised 38 children (foster kids included), the largest flock of sheep in New Hampshire as well as the rest of the farm, they decided to embark on a new adventure. The result is our mercantile. If you run into Heidi, be prepared for great stories. Frank will charm you with all the history and knowledge of our building and business.

Frank does all the buying and display for this shop. He travels from Farmer’s Markets finding local artists to traveling the world, finding unique gifts and crafts.
